Year 4

Welcome back. We are now in Summer 2, how fast has this year gone. This term we have many exciting things planned so fingers crossed for some Sunshine.

Our big focus is still learning all the times tables up to 12 x 12 as in the next couple of weeks the class will be taking the Multiplication Times table Check. We will, however, still be practising all the way through Year 4.

Important Weekly Timetable

Monday - PE / Homework hand in day. 

Tuesday - 

Wednesday - Times Table practise check / Homework handout day. 

Thursday - 

Friday - PE / Times Table test Prayer and Praise Assembly

Maths

Tiime, Shape, Statistics, Position and Direction

English - We will be writing about the Olympics

Topic - The whole school project is the 'Olympics' so we will be doing activities based upon this.

RE -The Church and what it means to diffrent religions.

PE - Athletics and Rounders

Please keep reading and get yourself on Year 4's Reading Challenge board. This will checked  on a Monday. If you get a 100 reads one of the prizes is a Hot Chocolate.

Please help by practicing times tables (all upto 12's) aeven though the class will have completed the test in the first 2 weeks of June. This knowledge will help as they move into Year 5 next year.
